I'm working through the Web 2.0 explorations, and I am now in the second session, learning about blogging...how interesting! Watched the wonderful video The Machine Is Us/ing Us twice; I loved the way it opened with all the erasing and changing of words. When I saw the next part on digital text, I was reminded of my first experience using a computer...we had bought an Apple IIE so I could write the papers for my Masters degree, but it took much longer than typing the papers as I kept moving text, moving paragraphs, editing etc so each page would be perfect! Practice helped, but I am still not perfect! However, work processing is much better that typing. Once in a great while someone comes into the library looking for a typewriter! I don't think my grandson even knows what one is.
I'm not sure what to do with this blog, so I am going to save it now, and then post it to see what happens.
